PhysicianCodingGuide.com provides coding education and educational analysis tools for clinicians. Nothing on this site is legal advice, payer or coverage determination, a guarantee of payment, or a substitute for your organization's compliance guidance. Outputs from the AI tools are educational drafts for your review; you are solely responsible for every coding decision you make and every code you report. Payer rules vary and change; verify against current payer policy.
You are responsible for de-identifying every note before pasting it into any tool on this site. Protected health information is prohibited; no business associate agreement exists or is offered. Removing the name, date of birth, and record number alone may not be sufficient; HIPAA Safe Harbor de-identification covers 18 identifier categories. Your employer's or health system's policies govern whether you may use external tools at all, and you are responsible for complying with them.
The tools are for individual clinical education and self-audit. You may not: paste protected health information; use the tools to generate claims you know your documentation does not support; resell, share, or automate access beyond the fair use stated on the pricing page (roughly ten analyses a day per clinician); scrape or bulk-download site content; or attempt to circumvent access controls. Sustained automated or shared-account use is throttled and may be revoked.
The AI extraction layer can misread ambiguous documentation, which is why every extracted factor is shown as a control you can correct and the deterministic engine recomputes as you do. Outputs may be incomplete or wrong; treat them as a second opinion to check against your own judgment and your coding professionals, never as a determination.
All guides and calculators are free. Paid access to unlimited AI analysis is currently handled directly by email as an early access arrangement: one clinician per code, with monthly access lasting about 40 days per payment and annual access about 380 days. There is no automatic renewal during early access; access simply expires unless renewed. Refunds: if the tools are not useful to you, ask within 30 days of purchase through the contact page and the payment will be returned in full, no questions. Cancellation during early access is one email. When self-service checkout launches, these terms will be updated to describe it exactly.
